Maintenance Shed Project

This project is the construction of a building to house the snowcat used to groom our ski trails!  A 2,400 square foot metal building has been donated to us by Dave and Doris Hendrickson, and construction of the foundation has been funded by the Fishhook Community Council.   We successfully completed the foundation in the fall of 2016 and have been working hard all spring and summer to finish putting the roof on and finish the rest of the building.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who have been involved with this project.  We also want to thank MEA  (operation roundup!) and Rasmuson for some grant funding that have enabled us to buy some of our building materials.  And thank you to Alaska Pacific Rental, who has generously donated the use of some of their heavy equipment to help our volunteers put up the roof.  And to Alaska Professional Construction, who is donating and pouring the slab!

If you are interested in volunteering any of your time or materials to aid the construction, please email us at skihatcherpass@gmail.com
